3rd Brake light LED's not working

I have an issue with my LED 3rd brake light not working.

I checked and get 11.70V at the female incoming voltage plug when the brake peddle is pressed. (engine off)

But what is weird is that I also get a 2.4 ohm reading at the two incoming wires. (while disconnected from the light of course and the brake not pressed)

I have checked the resistors on the LED strip and the diode as well and all seem OK.

Any Thoughts?

Dont use a DMM to check power circuits.... the volt number you get is pretty meaningless due to the high input impedance of the DMM. Even is the circuit has high resistance, the DMM will still read close to the system voltage. Use a test light to verify the circuit can supply current.

Thanks Jeff K .... I will try that as soon as I can. Unfortunately another is now using this car. I will post My results when I get them.

Here is the latest:

I hooked up a test light to the incoming connector and I do have power there, I suppose not the only solution is to try to find a replacement 3rd brake light LED assembly, or find something generic and go back to a 12v bulb.
