Anyone know if the console from a second gen would fit in the 4th gen? Any info or experiences or pics would be greatly appreciated....

I don't know why it wouldn't, but then again the cigarette lighter area won't match up to the dash.

One word, "Fiberglass" lol. I guess that I'll take some measurements this weekend and let you all know how it goes.....

It may fit between the seats, but the g2 console blends into the dash, while the g4 stops short of the dash (at least the one i saw did).
