we are having a problem with the vehicle starting fine but then the check engine light comes on and it does. Was doing this last week and then was fine. Started again this morning. Any ideas. She did use remote start the first morning this began.

Have you had the codes read? If so what are they? What is the car doing or not doing?

We had the code read and it said fuel pump or fuel module. It is working fine now. We were told if it happens again get it towed and don’t mess with it so they can narrow it down to which code is the one they need to follow.

Sounds like the fpdm...

And is easy to replace yourself if you are handy at all. It's behind the passenger rear seat back. Takes about 5 minutes. I wouldn't pay to have it towed to a shop.
