Hi, I have a 2014 Ford Taurus Limited. About 6 months ago the check engine light came on, I read the code and it came up with P0430 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 2. I brought it in they said that I could get it replaced, or to extend to make it last longer. Then a month later it turns back on, I get the Cat replaced, and it was perfect, perfect until 6 months later when it just came back on... and for what? The same exact code. This car is 6 years old, this isn’t something that should be happening TWICE to this car. Has anyone had any thing similar with their Taurus? Or if you haven’t do you know why this would be happening to a car this old? Thank you.

Having same issue with my 2013, 3.5L; 162,000miles. Changed both downstream o2 sensors to Bocsh and ok for 2 weeks, check Eng light popped while driving to the dealer get the water pump raping. If they say cats are bad, I'm dumping the car as CARB cats & the water pump work is the value of the car.
