Sunday my car would not start so I put it in the garage they replaced the fuel pump and the starter. I turned my Cruise Control on this morning the light came on but it would not set. It was working fine on Sat. 1st question, did they have to disconnect anything to do with the Cruise control to replace the fluid pump or starter cam?
2nd question, What would cause it not to set when the light says it is on?

The light on tells you it is not the button on the steering wheel, and not the switch on the brake. Light would be off if that were the case.

Look at the cable to the throttle body.
