I replaced ignition cylinder had a locksmith make me 2 keys i lost them so i replaced ignition cylinder again for the second time with key (used part) still wont start can i delete the pats system if i send the computer box off to have it flashed and delete the pats on that computer box will this work on my taurus
Do you have any of the original keys from before when the lock cylinder was replaced the first time? If yes, AND they are still programmed in the car, then there's a way to use an existing chip-key head to trigger the PATS system and a different cheapo non-chip key to turn the cylinder.
