Output speed sensor is the vehicle speed sensor (vss). Input speed sensor would be the tss (turbine (shaft) speed sensor). Vss would be mounted externally on the tranny under a heat shield. Location depends on which tranny you have.

Vss is called oss (output shaft speed sensor) 2000^.

Vss is simply called oss from model year 2000 and up. PO715: INPUT/turbine speed sensor circuit malfunction. PO720: OUTPUT speed sensor circuit malfunction. Dunno, maybe run it by a tranny shop for a free diagnosis/explanation?
