Coworker purchased a 2002 Taurus OHV (Vin U) a few weeks ago. 127K miles.

Clearing the codes, it throws codes P0135 and P0155 after driving the car a mile or two. Rinse and repeat. No vacuum leaks, just fixed those with a new elbow.

This car has had loads of work done to it...
New Rack
New PS Pump
New Alt
New WP
New Coolant tank w/cap
>>New Jasper transmission installed July 2012.

Original O2 sensors from the looks based on the green clip being still there.

Never seen P0135 and P0155 combination before. Any ideas where to start? Car is not as smooth as it could be when running. Guessing that's because of the codes.

Yea I pulled the fuse in question related to the HEGO's, and the fuse was fine, even though that fuse controls other functions.

So now to find the wiring diagrams for an 02 'u' code and see how the ground circuit looks. I agree with you, sound like disconnected or bad grounds.
