Hey all, my buddy owns a 2001 SES 3.0 He's having intermittent issues with it cutting off on him when it warms up... I'm thinking Temp Sensor is fouling and causing this. any ideas, or advice would be greatly appreciated. This is the only thing it's doing. No other symptoms. THANKS

Stalls

I had '87 taurus with a bad ignigtion module that would stall the engine when it heated up.
Car had to sit for 30 min to cool then it was good for another twenty. Kinda like a built in time out for anger management while driving.

It should have solid state ignition though. Does it throw any codes?
If not, I would rule out maintenance issues first. Fuel filter, etc.

Thanx for the reply. I will ask him more questions to aide in diagnosis.
