I have a 2001 3L I'm building for my contour SVT. All the timing marks are correct but at one point during the rotation there is a lot of slack on one side of the chain. This occurs on right and left bank. I think it's because there is more tension on the cam opening valves than the one with no tension not opening valves. Plus the hydraulic tensionsioners have no oil in them. I think I'm good but want some reasurance.
Also there are no holes in the locations below. Fel-Pro #9540PT and #9541PT. I think it has to due with the way thay cast it. Anyone now for sure?
