Anyone have a solution for this one....

The rear of the car has four places for license plate screws. There are square holes in the car with white plastic screw anchors. On my car, the black plastic (part of the car) inside the square is broken and will no longer hold the screw anchor. Recently, the top one has come apart as well.

It looks like a larger screw anchor would help...just not sure if it exists.

Check the Help! section in almost any parts store. If not there, grab some fasteners at the local hardware store. Last but not least, cable ties or baling wire lol.

Stick a new insert in there covered with (except for the threaded inside) fast set 5 minute epoxy. Make sure the parts are clean and dry, and stick a piece of masking tape over it to hold it in place while it sets up. Screw your plate back on and off you go!

My 04 Bubble wagon has the same problem. Good call on the epoxy!
