Hi Folks,

This is probably childs play for most of you but please humor me. Can anyone tell me how to access the socket in order to replace the passenger side rear brake light bulb on a 2000 taurus wagon? It was childs play on my old '92 but after removing the two obvious screws on the lamp assembly housing, that's where it got sticky and I didn't want to brake anything, or start removing panels inside the rear deck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Lou

Thanks for the reply, it worked!

I needed to know what was holding back the lens cover from being pulled off after removing the two anchor screws. I wasn't sure if I was up against another mounting screw or some sort of clip. As it turned out it was a clip type connection and I was able to pry it off by slipping a butter knife under the lens and pulling out.

Thanks, again!

Lou
