I have a 1999 Ford Taurus, leaking coolant from an outlet coming out of the passenger side exterior wall just below the exhaust manifold. Photo attached. Is this the water drain or the heater inlet/outlet??????

Get it to a reputable garage for an honest opinion. Hard to tell from that photo of yours. However, on a Vulcan that's a prime timing-cover leak location. Not many other places for coolant to leak from in that area.

if its that little protruding knob right in the center that's the evaporator condensation (water) drain. I myself can't say if the core or fittings leaking inside the housing would be leaking from there.

is there a hose attached to the outlet.

That's your a/c evaporator drain. Only plain h2o should drip from it. It appears you have a leaking heater core.
