Hi, I just noticed while changing my airfilter, that one of the two wires going to a sensor on the airbox lid is broken. Does anyone know what this sensor is for and what part number the pigtail is so I can order/replace?

This is not the MAF wiring; it is actually on the lid.

Thanks for the help and insight.

It's the Intake Air Temperature sensor. It will set a code.

Just go to a wrecking yard and cut the plug off another car with enough wiring intact to splice it onto yours.

You MUST solder this connection. Being a resistive sensor, any extra resistance caused by poor connections will tell the ECU the wrong data and more problems may follow.
