Hello,

My 1998 Ford Taurus SE has recently had an issue with the blower motor fans suddenly not working. I popped open the power distributor box and pulled the relay (#23), and the pin labeled "87" is burnt. I replaced the relay and it burned the replacement within a day, and I suspect it is receiving too much current and getting hot. I am thinking I will need to replace the blower motor itself, and the blower motor resistor too. I am inquiring to see if any other Taurus owners have ever had the same issue, and could provide feedback on what has worked for them.

Edit: Everything else runs perfectly on the car, and the fans worked just fine with the new relay before it burned.
