I just realized I posted in the wrong forum previously.....

It seems I've had this come and go.
Warm and cold starts.
Starts up and then RPM drops right back down to zero.

any ideas or faqs to point me to?

OK how do I hold the throttle slightly open?

Additional info:
I drove the car all weekend and was dangerously low on fuel AND I parked on my steep driveway outside last night. It was probably the coldest night last night too.
I decided to put in about 2 gallons of gas just now via gas can. It still does not start, it just keeps cranking.

OK replaced IAC valve and gasket. Still no dice.

I also opened the throttle body a few times, seems to move OK.

HELP!
I just picked it up Friday with a rebuilt transmission.... AHHHH!

Running any fuel injected car low on gas is very, very bad. Check for fuel pressure with an EFI gauge.

P1401 is a dpfe (egr pressure sensor) code. Dunno about the p1451?

P1401 shouldnt cause the issues youre describing.

So I moved my car from the steep driveway to the street....
started up fine.
I still notice a bit of a rough idle or something going on while sitting at a light.
Perhaps clean/replace EGR?

Be careful about putting old stale mower gas in the car!
