I have had random misfire codes for 2 and 5 which I think are on the same coil. I do wonder but isnt there a ground connection to the coil packs I think mine was corroded looking when I was back there changing the plugs.

I have new plugs, I have a new IACV, I have a new DPFE, new hoses for vacum lines, new EGR, I have a new Alternator I get 25mpg+ at highway cruising but the car sputters when idling. I even cleaned the EGR passageway that was full of old crappy oil. I think I have 300,000 miles on the car, not too sure I did the SHO gauge cluster swap. I have a new air filter and new cabin air filter. I didnt gap the plugs as they are platinums and I was told you dont do that. I am using the NGK platinums.

It probably is the coil. Its output could be weak. Many misfires will seem to disappear at higher RPM, but in reality they are still there. I would get this addressed. These cars do have a waste spark system, so a faulty plug or wire can also cause a problem on 2 cylinders.
