Seriously, Have I been missing part of the things that go on around here?

I take it that its much faster than its auto V6 brother?

I would assume that it's pretty much the exact same speed as a regular gen 3 sho. Maybe *slightly* faster because of the gen 2 weighing slightly less? It's the same engine and the same slushbox found in a gen 3 sho, so it should be the same speed as well.

Weight comes into play, and the auto sho and v8 sho use basically the same slushbox. So I dunno.

Stock, the Gen II ATX is only slightly faster than the Gen III.

Interestingly enough, the only v6 sho to ever beat russells v8 was a heavily (n/a) modded atx v6. Won by .1 seconds. Most of the v6's he encounters are pieces of dung, and the driver cant shift worth a damn.

His v8 seems to be a lot quicker than other v8's I've seen, too. :dunno:

A v8 in a gen 2 is probably pretty dang zippy. A couple hundred pounds is...a couple hundred pounds. That's weight you can notice is missing from the car.
