it is posible like i thaught just pricy. reson i ask is i found a 95 gl wagon and fiance since my mom doing bankruptcy we should take the motor out my 06 beofre the get it and drop it in the 95 wagon. but like i thaught u have to move the intire drive line. so very involved.

the wagon on 695 and 166K needs break work and some tlc but i know tauruss well pluse im poor and about all i can aford

If you got the engine to swap, it shouldn't cost too much money. It is involved though, changing an engine takes some time and knowledge. You need to strip it down to the long block basically, and put all the accessories from the old engine on the newer one after dropping it into the engine bay.

Nope. All the accessories will swap, brackets and all, except the alt. Need to swap upper and lower intake, exhaust manifolds, rocker covers, temp, oil, and knock(if equipped) sensors FROM the '95. Use the FRONT motor mount and bracket FROM THE '06. Use the transmission FROM the '95.
