i just bought a harmon kardon idrive for my 04 taurusand am tryin to hook it up via fm modulation, but after pulling the stereo i discovered that the antenna doesnt connect to the radio itself. does anyone know where it connects?

The RCU in the trunk. Driver's side behind the carpeting.

about 18 inches from the antenna. Pull the trunk covering on the drivers side behind the rear wheel well and you will see a silver box bolted to the back of the rear wheel well. That is the actual radio for the Taurus. What is in the car is just the controls for it.
