I am hoping someone can help me.

My car on occasion will shut off while I am driving. It will restart right back up or if I pump the gas it has restarted without completely dieing. I have replaced the cam synchronizer and sensor. I have read other posts and the ones I did read no one really answered the question. As to rather the suggestions worked or not.

I have the 3.0 (Not the dohc or flexfuel)

Did not throw a check engine code.

I am not sure what else you need to know.

I am getting ready to go on a long trip and I really don't want to get stranded.

Sounds like a fuel problem. Has the fuel filter ever been changed?

I guess Electircal problem.
1. Check the battery terminals, if they are tight.
2. Check the Ground points.

I will check that out..

I have read that maybe the fuel rail pressure sensor or fuel pump. What do you think?

Also I have noticed it does it when I am on the lower end of the gas gauge.

They put the car on the computer and it threw no codes. They checked the hoses and cleaned around the ignition module. They said it was pretty dirty. Guess I will just keep an eye out on it and hope for the best.
