Hello. I have a 2002 Ford Taurus. About a month ago my heater hose assembly broke causing my car to overheat. Well we managed to fix the heater hose assembly and the cars engine light came on. We keep getting the same code. PO301 or PO316. My husband has always worked on my car and well this is frustrating both of us to no means. We have replaced in the last month Heater Hose Assembly, Coolant Resevoir, Ignition Coil, Sparkplugs and wires, EGR Valve and sensor, Fuel Injector #1, fuel filter. I think this is everything. My engine light is still on and we don't know what to do next. Can anyone help and give some advice?

How severe was the overheat? If bad, head gasket failure is a possibility, which is what the intimidator 02 is thinking.
