I bought this car at about 143K miles, and it now has about 225K miles. ALL factory maintenance is current; but the Wisconsin winters are dissolving the body, particularly the rear wheel fenders and the rear door frames. The compression is sagging, so the fastest it can go is a shade over 90, and it takes almost a minute to get there.
2000 Ford Taurus SES (Blue)
The factory CD stereo puked and was replaced with the cheapest head that came with a USB port for flash drives full of music.
Entire suspension, struts, springs, everything replaced at 160K.
Wheel and Tire
Replaced mismatched tires with a set of Cooper C4's @ 135 Ameros per corner at 165K. Subsequently, at about 225K, since it no longer will go fast, the latest tires are el cheap-o Firestone.
