  1. FORScan | How to Modify/Program Module Data

5th and 6th Gen Maintenance and Repair
Yes and I wouldn't recommend it unless something is actually not functioning right. Updates don't work on modules like they do phones and computers. Believe it or not, a calibration update can actually break stuff.

K, another update. Days later and I haven't heard anything back from LensDump. I'm being ignored at this point which is unbelievable. I'm trying my best to get some information on why all my stuff was removed.

What a ride it's been with ya, my guy. Sad to see you go, but there's always a time for everything.

Ya know, that's something I've wondered myself. Let me write that down and I'll check that.

I'm gonna be absolutely livid if the photos are full on gone. I'd have to DIG to find them again, if I even have them still.

5th-6th Gen Electronics, Security, Audio, Visual
Alright here's an update for the picture issue on the tutorials: I contacted LensDump and they said I used it for commercial purposes which is private auction and eCommerce trade. Pretty damn sure I never did that and I used it specifically just to store pictures for these tutorials for the...

  9. FORScan | How to Modify/Program Module Data

5th and 6th Gen Maintenance and Repair
What sucks is the gauge cluster in the newer models is actually different, even though it looks the same. The hardware is slightly different and it actually lacks a few features, but gains in other categories. So for 2013, 2014, and I believe 2015, you cannot activate a digital speedometer readout.
  10. FORScan | How to Modify/Program Module Data

5th and 6th Gen Maintenance and Repair
Alright y'all, I'm back to being active. Sorry if I've missed anyone's questions or concerns. I know something happened with the pictures in a few tutorials so I'm gonna get to figuring that out
  11. Ford SYNC2 to SYNC3 Upgrade

5th-6th Gen Electronics, Security, Audio, Visual
Alright y'all, I'm back to being active. Work has been destroying me but I'm finally back, haha. Alrighty so pictures aren't displaying anymore on a few tutorials for some reason. Let me figure that out
  12. Ford SYNC2 to SYNC3 Upgrade

5th-6th Gen Electronics, Security, Audio, Visual
You do need to update progressively. You can't go straight to 3.0 because it doesn't hold the previous updates unfortunately.
  13. FORScan | How to Modify/Program Module Data

5th and 6th Gen Maintenance and Repair
Okay so as soon as I have my Taurus back, I'll investigate that stuff. Honestly I just found the DRL option and threw it in. My lights are all custom so I have no way of testing it since I have modules that override the onboard system. But yes, some things in there I'm aware will absolutely...

Looking back into the global window open close thingy. I've been working 12 hours a day for a while at my job so I've been dead inside and now I have some motivation to look into these FORScan issues, haha. What I would LOVE, everyone please start posting here any issues. Let me know anything...

Yes, 6x9 rear speakers. Look into Memphis btw. Pretty awesome audio.
  16. FORScan | How to Modify/Program Module Data

5th and 6th Gen Maintenance and Repair
Alright, here's an update. At least I know I'm not insane. Here's a picture of what I have in my IPC (never modified the global window function, so this is a factory option). HOWEVER, even with global remote close checked, it does not roll up my windows. Roll down works, but not the other...
  17. FORScan | How to Modify/Program Module Data

5th and 6th Gen Maintenance and Repair
It's so odd because some Fords will work with it and others won't. But we'll find out today!
  18. FORScan | How to Modify/Program Module Data

5th and 6th Gen Maintenance and Repair
Hey y'all, heads up I'm just now getting to figuring out the global window open and close thingy. I corrected the sequence (I think), but now that I have time to actually whip open my laptop physically with my car, I can actually narrow down what's up. Also interesting. I never noticed that...
  19. FORScan | How to Modify/Program Module Data

5th and 6th Gen Maintenance and Repair
Interesting. Let me investigate that as soon as possible. I could have written it in wrong as it was the dead of morning.
  20. FORScan | How to Modify/Program Module Data

5th and 6th Gen Maintenance and Repair
Little update for the spreadsheet! Added the Global Open AND Global Close windows feature. It never even occurred to me to look at that option and see if global close was disabled because I never even use that feature on my remote (Thank you @jdsfel for bringing this to my attention). BUT, for...
