    Just a tip for you: Try posting this in the Gen 5-6 forum, you are in the Gen 1-4 forum. Yes, you have lost coolant, most likely waterpump failure on that engine. Depending how hot the engine got, you might also need head gaskets or a new engine.

    "Blend door sounds normal." ???? Do you know what normal sound is???? Keep skipping diagnostic steps and posting here: you will get nowhere and we'll lose interest in helping you. Any good HVAC technician has a bore scope camera and will use it to verify the door operation. Just do it.

    Have someone video your engine while you put the transmission in drive and brake torque it. Put the transmission in reverse and do the same. Post the video here and you will get replies.

    Most likely the secondary blend door is warped. Here is a link the the factory service bulletin: Taurus: the secondary blend door as per TSB 02-23-6 This was the fix for mine, I pulled the part from a 2005 Taurus at the J-yard.

    Try back flushing the radiator fins with a garden hose. When I replaced my radiator I was shocked at the cotton fuzz blocking air through the radiator. Somehow it had gotten through the condenser and stuck to radiator fins.

    Try spritzing water on your coil and wires in total darkness with engine running, you may see a light show. Replace coil with motorcraft only.

    Return the questionable puller and find another. It's not worth ruining the pulley. You can pull the headlight out and get a lot more room by loosening the coolant reservoir from it's mounts and move it around a little.

    Yes, that's the specified torque for oil pan bolts. Yes, it seems high for the application. 80 in/lbs would be sufficient, but use your own discretion. I am a certified master mechanic for 42 yrs. At G.M. we spec 9NM for a bolt this size (80 in/lbs)

    There is a switch on each door lock that reports whether the door is latched. They will get sticky and send false signal.
