I was just going to fill you in on me to long a story from the beginning, But lately! bought a mustang gtcs in nov. 07 new 0% financing 5,000 down 35,000 total I was working at Kiewit h.d. mechanic foreman 60 hrs wk. fr500 suspension 205 40r20 whipple charger long tubes h-pipe etc 387 rwhp 4.6 3 valve awsom sideways at 50 then red and blue red and blue every time I did what it was made to do plus it was new if I got caught 10 minutes in the rain I'd be wiping washing the underside engine etc. I get too neurotic I never drove it at the end just sat in the garage what a waste I can't putt around in a car like that going I COULD YA KNOW I COULD BLOW YOU RIGHT OFF THE ROAD. I used to go a little mental in my 67 chevelle 327 in 1975 never got tickets maybe something stupid when they couldn't get you for anything else what a waste sold the mustang to a guy around my age but he looked pudgy out of shape he didn't look right in it oh well it can be replaced. sorry running off at finger.
Do you ever get the urge to go turbo duratec like the noble or 3.4 turbo? I know 25,000 to 35,000 dollars later but I would be foaming thinking about it. Always wanted to know what you could get out of a n/a Vulcan I was thinking solid rollers if you could get them, cams, stroked etc. I've got one in my 94 topaz. always thinking what I could get out of the motors I've owned.-_-
That is a helluva badass Taurus. I want to 5-speed swap mine but I don't want to go the Vulcan route since mine has 200k+ miles on it. What do you know about swapping a 3.4 liter SHO motor in with a 5 speed? I think I have read that an MTX-75 tranny would bolt up to it but would the engine fit? I'm a newb to this type of thing.
