Oh, it is SO worth it. It's a blast to drive. And sounds awesome running through the gears. It was a floor shift, so I had the console.

It is a really long list. Custom driveshafts, modify the shift rods, custom motor mounts and custom bracketing for them, move fuse box, modify under dash, and so much more. I now see why most people don't do this, it is a HUGE job. *LOL*.

I kinda figured it'd be pretty costly but that's substantially more than I was thinking. What kinda of custom fabrication did you have to do?

Hmmmm, my advice is that if you are fairly new to major modifications, sit down with a performance shop and discuss it with them. What you would like to do would be awesome, but would be an enormous and vastly expensive project. Work up a plan of action with a shop that does this kind of work. Draw up a timeline and budget for it. Then add 10% to that as there will be unexpected hurdles. A job like this, to do right, could easily run you between $10,000 and $20,000. If you are willing to go for that kind of commitment, it would be awesome when done.
