Maybe Rudy would like to explain why he did not answer Jason's PMs about this issue a couple of weeks ago. This is old news that is being retreaded on numerous forums over the last week.

Rudy, what say you?

btw, if you host this site w/IPB, please call Josh in their tech service and ask him to find out why, you have so much server lag.. if you host it yourself, time for a new server.. this one can't handle the load.. I have had 7 time outs so far on this log in..

Pm on what issues Paul, you seem to know every thing Jason does. As for responding I told him I was not comfortable about discussing PERSONAL stuff with anyone here. If no one can understand that it's their problem, I've only met him one time in person, briefly 4 -5 years ago, and don't feel he "knows" me satisfactorily. As for issues with the meet thread, I've received NO PMs or e-mails from him. Any other issues he wished to speak of, he requested to be a phone call, well, I cannot very well do that with no number, you think? So, now I've supplied a number. You wanna call it confrontational, fine, no skin off my shin.

So taking what Paul stated and what you have added, it seems that (plz correct me if I am wrong) You wanted to have a meet, there was concern and you were ask to hold off for a bit.. you looked into why? in doing so, got into a talk (PM/email?) w/Jason that was a bit too personal/not meet related. you said so and he said about talking on the phone, but gave you no manner to contact him.. you were upset that your meet, while others were going ahead, was questioned.. you spoke out about it and threads went by-by and here we are..

I tried to make my post limited.. plz (anyone) add anything that is important, so we can get this put to bed.. where everyone wins.. Thank You..

I have no dog in this fight, but for the sevrer:

I never have any lag what-so-ever
The server is owned and hosted privately, not with IPB
Servers cost money
This club does not make a lot of it

Thanks Randy - what you posted hits the nail on the head.

I never experience any lag. People send me a handful of complaints every once in a great while about speed, but most of them end up being due to local issues with their connection/computers.

As far as the rest of this thread goes -

Rudy, I asked for your phone number before and you would not give it to me nor tell me a good time to call. Don't try to spin this into something else, you know what was said in the PMs a while back. I don't appreciate you trying to make me look like the bad guy as if I wouldn't let you contact me. Not only that but my phone number has been posted publicly all over this forum. If you really wanted to find it, it could be found quite easily.

You ignored many of my PMs and I continually tried to communicate with you. Unfortunately, you wouldn't even grant me the courtesy of a reply.

When you did finally reply, no matter what I said I just got responses that were argumentative and had nothing to do with what I sent you. It was just a continual attempt to justify your behavior in the 'Houston Area' thread. I don't care about that and that's not really an issue anymore. The point is that what I was sending you had nothing to do with the specifics of the 'Houston Area' thread. I just wanted to address the greater issues at hand but it was impossible to get any real communication going with you.

Secondarily, I would never usually make a post such as the above in public but since you already drug it out into the public I guess that's the path we'll go down. It's not right for you to be able to scrutinize me publicly and misconstrue things without everyone being able to see both sides of the story.

Lastly, neither Rudy nor Zorin directly communicated with me regarding this 'meet' issue. I was basically off the forums all weekend tending to my guests and the meet at my house and I come back to an explosion of spam about this issue spread all over the forums! WTF? That is not a proper way to conduct ones self when there is a dispute with something regarding an Administrative issue in this club. It's fairly obvious that a PM or e-mail to me would be the best course of action. It turns out that Steven was the only one that bothered to do this and through that we've been able to get a civil discussion going on resolving this.

Now, I'm going to get all the details of what went down with all of this and try to sort it out. It's going to take a bit of time since people chose to drag it out and spread it all over the forums and involve unaffected people, so you're going to have to bear with me and the rest of the staff as we work through this. Thank you for your patience.

Lag happens EVERY night between 9pm and midnight (MDT). There's a topic about it in it's correct forum. Not just me either. 5 minute refresh rates FTL.

Back to your regularly scheduled thread.

Dunno, 9:30 at night I can still surf with no lag. 10PM on, I am in bed anyway.
