I was pulling out the rear motor mount when I hit a snag! The mount is the wrong one? All the auto stores have the same mount listed...

I'm sure I have the right mount, but the old one is different.... what mount is the old one then?

Thats quite a dilemma you are in there..

All the mounts I find are either flat, or beveled left like the new one you have. And your old one is beveled right. So the question arises, the opposing service, on your engine, is it flat, or, is there a slot or something that it has to slide into?

There is a slot that's also beveled to fit the old part

Do you have a V8 SHO like your profile implies? If so, no parts store will have anything for that car whatsoever.

SHO Source offers reinforced mounts for this reason.
