Need help with windows/mirrors/interior lights

'03 Taurus SES, 3.0 OHV Engine. While trying to extract the driver side Puddle Lamp I accidentally bumped the bulb and it went out. Assumed I caused it to burn out. Next morning my wife advised me the power windows would not roll down. This is a problem since the A/C is out and temps are currently in the mid to high 90's at this time. Found out the windows, interior lights, puddle lamps, electric remote control side mirrors all quit working. Research here, Youtube, and Google searches led me to replace the Accessory Delay Relay but this did not correct the problem. I suspect fuses but the owners manual doesn't state which fuses affect these functions. Can anyone tell me which ones to check/replace? I've seen posts saying to check for broken wires in the driver's door hinge and power window switch, but since more functions quit at the same time I think fuses or relays are likely causes. Has anyone had this problem and fixed it? If so what was the fix?

Any issue with things in the driver's door I would start with the accordion. Cut the zip tie and inspect the wires. I have had 3 of these as in the pic.

Inspect is easy.

Thanks for the reply; makes sense considering other posts I've read. Found the issue though, in the fuse box. 10A fuse #26 was blown.

Why did the fuse blow? Symptom; not cause. Look at the wires in the accordion and look at where the wires pass through behind kick panel; they can chafe on the sharp metal.

^^^^ Exactly.

Fuses dont blow for no reason. A blown fuse is telling you there is a (likely very intermittent) short circuit. The fuse will continue to randomly blow until you find the cause of the intermittent short.
