Lucas Oil Transmission Fix?

I was just wondering if anyone had used this stuff with a slipping transmission and if it worked? Any input is welcome, thanks

I have used Trans-X but not Lucas. I like the Trans-X and it did help a slipping problem but nothing will perform miracles,

What are your slipping symptoms? How old and what does your fluid look and smell like? I'm sure you've checked the fluid level hot on a level surface.

It just has a hesitation shift in 1st gear, the car is a 1996, but I just did a tranny flush about 2 months ago, so the fluid is clean and smell like it should LOL, and the level is correct.

Understandable, but when on a college budget, a $1600 transmission is not in store.

Yes, trans started slipping at 80 ish thousand miles and I was told I would need a rebuild. I put in a bottle of lucas transmission fix and I had no problems even at 128K miles now. People will always hate on fixing things with liquid in a bottle but some of them actually work. It obviously won't fix the problem permanently but if you can get another 80K miles out of it before needing to repair it why not?

You mean from a stop you have to rev to get engagement? Or shifting from park to drive, or first to second when travelling?

I am like No Bull when it comes to liquid band-aids but Simon182's comment is not the first I have heard regarding some success with Lucas. IIRC Sheila has even posted something in it's favor, possibly more than once too. BTDT when it comes to starving college student budget, I hear you there.

It's SHO time!

IIRC LubeGuard is more highly regarded, particularly the Red.

Sorry about the attempted analysis. I'm not a fluid fix guy. Maybe for varnishing. I've heard good things from others about Lucas.
