"97 3.0 cranks, no start

Hello everybody, first post, great site. Here's the story, 97 Taurus GL 3.0, 123K. Car died in the driveway about a week ago and I was asked to look at it. Found fuel pump was inop, troubleshot to a bad ground coming off of ccrm pin 18, repaired by providing a new ground, pump now runs, and I do have fuel pressure at the rail. still no start. replaced spark plugs and cam position sensor due to both being trashed, still no start. crank sensor puts out approximately 2v AC while cranking. swapped fuel pump and PCM relays, no help, checked relays in ccrm, no trouble found. I have 12VDC to injectors and all injectors have about 14-18 ohms resistance. Battery is ok. All fuses have been checked.(ok) All the grounds I can find have been cleaned and checked. I'm not getting the ground to fire the injectors and not sure where that ground comes from. Also, my scanner won't communicate, unable to pull codes, although it does power up. Hopefully somebody has some input and maybe a pinout for the PCM???? Yes I've searched this site. Sorry for long post but I'm at my wits end with this. Anybody, Anybody???

Okay, so you have spark, fuel pressure, crank signal and good cranking but no injector pulse?

Have you checked the PCM fuses and relay to confirm the PCM is getting power?

Yes, I've checked the fuses both under the hood and under the dash, checked good. however I can't positively confirm that power is getting to the pcm because I haven't been able find a pinout for the connector. I know there are several inputs for power but without pinout who knows if I'm missing one of those? I would also be nice to be able to verify the grounds out of that same connector. As for the relays, I swapped relays around under the dash, and in the ccrm, I put 12v to the relays and checked resistance across the power contacts themselves. everything seemed to check good.

Do you have power AT the relays in Distribution box? I suspect wiring fault

Easy way to see if PCM is powered up: Turn key to RUN, dont start engine. CEL will be on if PCM is powered up.

How did you check for fuel pressure at the rail? Gauge or depress valve and see if fuel squirts out. If you used the "squirts out" test, it isnt sufficient to verify correct pressure. Use a gauge.

Read this for PCM pinout and pins to check:

+1 for needing to check fuel pressure with an actual gauge.
