2004 ac problem

how do you know if its your clutch or compressor i know something is bad if i try ac blows fuse but not sure if its clutch or compressor or both

Even a locked compressor will not blow the clutch fuse. Clutch current does not depend on compressor speed, high friction inside the comp, etc. First step is to measure clutch current draw at clutch electrical connector. From memory, it should be around 4.7 Amps.
