which repair manual is better for 2000 Taurus

Hello all,

http://www.amazon.com/Taurus-Mercury-1996-2005-Haynes-Automotive/dp/1563925893/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1343009302&sr=8-2&keywords=taurus+repair+manualFord Taurus & Mercury Sable, 1996-2005 (Hayne's Automotive Repair Manual)

I was trying to buy this book. But many people complaint that this
book is NOT updated for the latest 200X model and it only has the
parts for old model.

I also check this one on ebay.
FORD TAURUS MERCURY SABLE 2000 2001 2002 2003 SERVICE REPAIR MANUAL | eBay

FORD TAURUS / MERCURY SABLE SERVICE REPAIR MANUAL 2000
on a CD-ROM

How do you think about this one?

Which one should I buy? I have little experience on repairing car.

Thank you

Geez, for $9 I'd go with the Ford manual. Haynes is not a great manual (IMHO).

The eBay DVDs are mainly pirated copies or very second-rate general manuals. When it covers more than one year, it's not worth much. I don't know about the ebay guy's PDF, but you'd be out only a little.

I like the paper Ford Service manuals (usually $20-50 on ebay) because I can flip back and forth to the many interconnected procedures.

1986 MT-4 4-cylinder (R.I.P. circa 1990, rust, clutch)
1994 Station Wagon (R.I.P. circa 9/2005)
1991 Station Wagon (R.I.P. 1/2007, but the Benz that pulled out in front was bent much worse)
1998 SE Station Wagon (R.I.P. 2/28/09 at ~186k)
2004 Taurus SE w/Vulcan & AX4N | dark shadow gray metallic | gray cloth interior | still strong at 192K+
2000 Taurus SE wagon w/Vulcan & AX4S / tropic green metallic | gray cloth interior | purchased 6/12 at 51k miles

I would get an official Ford Service DVD. Some of the inexpensive ones on eBay are pirated extracts from these official manuals. Usually, you will see photos of the official DVD which clearly show the Ford logo.
