okay, i was going to airbrush a character on my hood of my 99 se. but i don't want to use the one on my car "in case" I miss up and have a off colored hood. my question is " can i use a 97 -98 or same gen. hood and body style as mine?" and if so, what are the ways to get the hood off bc. i never messed with taking off hydrulic hoods are the just as easy to put back on?

All you need to do is pop the metal retaining springs off the hydraulic lift posts, then unbolt the hinge bracket. Disconnect the washer spray hose, too.

As for what you can use as a replacement, any 96-99 hood from a Taurus will work.
