So, forecast 2 days ahead 8-12" and we got 10.5". Time forecast Thurs 1-2pm, right on target. End ~6am on Friday. Right on target. Main roads open and traffic by 7am today. Wife and I went to heart rehab noonish at the hospital ~12 miles away. All roads clear and only the minor road behind the hospital had slush.

From the news, NY City missed the memo.

Some nice winter and that strange light in the sky is present. Now have to watch out of water pipes freezing in the basement of my old house.

Snow due here tomorrow night. How much we'll get depends on what weather forecast you choose to believe:
AccuWeather: 1 to 3 inches
National Weather Service: 2 to 4 inches
The Weather Channel: 5 to 8 inches
ABC27: 3 to 7 inches
WGAL: 3 to 5 inches
FOX43: 1 to 3 inches
CBS21: 2 to 4 inches

So the max can be from 3 to 8 inches. Will just get Third Bull covered up and plan for a sofa day with books and movies.

What greater freedom than not knowing where you're going or why ?

I drive way too fast to worry about cholesterol.

If you know where you're going, it's travel. If you don't, it's an adventure.

All I need is coffee and mascara.

Best winter here in SE WI I can remember....... We have had maybe 4 inches of snow total so far, and temps have been well above average. Last weekend it was 50 deg F, sunny, and light winds, and it has been above 32 deg F for highs more often than not for the entire winter so far. I am loving it!!!

Just came in from shoveling 3 cars/driveways and back deck... Bah! Humbug! Neighbor on the west stepped out momentarily to state how beautiful it was. I was tempted to flip him off...
