Flocks of these geese fly in every morning and the swim around and eat along the banks. When they fly in, they land in the water. This morning they just skid along the ice. The web feet do not seem to do well on ice. They then slid their feet along until they get to the bank where they assemble and fly away. I do not think they can take off on ice. Anyway, our view is now all white.

Morning and all is over, partly sunny and should be ~40F today.
Bought snow shovel, coveralls, and gloves and all put to use this am.
10.5" on car and same out the patio.
Main roads clear.

We had that nuisance snow here on Monday. By mid morning it was gone. Been dry as a bone.

I am so jealous of you guys with real actual snow... And I shouldnt be living in Denver.

I'll take a nuisance snow any day after Thursday's mess. The 'wintry mix' of 1-3" turned into 8". Took almost two hours to go 6 miles. Took my boss 7 hrs to make a 35 mile commute. State decided to turn 12,000 workers loose on the streets at noon. The traffic was bumper to bumper.

Third Bull managed the snow and major slush until my last hill into my apt complex. Got a little slip-slidey but we made it.
I'm still stunned at the number of people in PA who don't know how to prepare for winter weather and don't know how to drive in the snow.

What greater freedom than not knowing where you're going or why ?

I drive way too fast to worry about cholesterol.

If you know where you're going, it's travel. If you don't, it's an adventure.

All I need is coffee and mascara.
