Yeah, in the internship program for the degree I'm in, there's a class involving hands on work. One of the spots is for one of the local schools, who has a full Mac setup.

Professor says that student is always the most bored.

Unfortunately I work in a highly secured environment. My personal phone, laptop, wifi and tablet are never allowed to crossover. Personal phones have to be left in your car or checked at front desk when onsite. Any work done from home has to be done on dedicated laptop that is then connected to it's own line with it's own encryption. Pain in the balls that I can't even work wireless at home. Folks have been dismissed for leaving their laptops in their locked car while running in to get their kid at daycare.

It's SHO time!

That's why they have you with an iPhone. Android isn't secure, especially for enterprise level security.

LMAO. They got the secured part right. No juice means no security violations.

What grinds my gears?

People too lazy to actually type full words and use "text talk" for everything.

I use proper grammar and spelling when I'm texting and I'll never go back to a smart phone without a keyboard again.

Being a teacher, I have a strong tendency to look at a text as I'm correcting it. People "shorthand" too much and have forgotten proper English.

I see people forgetting to drop the silent E when adding ING to a word. They also misuse sit and set all the time. Run-on sentences are common.

The last time I taught "proper English" that people had to identify parts of a sentence was in 1995. Ever since then, English has not been taught as I think it should be.

Math skills are another pet peeve of mine. Kids today don't use their BRAIN in computing math. They rely too much on a calculator to do the work for them.

Grinding my gears...... Looking at a 'possible pay increase(which I'm sure will be a whole 3%)' then looking at my car insurance taking a chunk out of that with the increase they just imposed on both my cars, for no just reason other than the fact of them not having the money to pay for Hurricane Sandy. Thanks...... I'm so glad I can pay my part........ even though I didn't have any claims.

A-men brother. Spent two weeks down in Tampa with my best female friend and it was over before I was anywhere near ready.
Who knows when I'll get to do that again, but let me tell you, it will be as soon as possible.
