Tire Rack seems cheaper... Ain't much of a discount there.
Example:
Continental ContiProContact - $86 a piece at Tire Rack
"Discount" Tire - $95.00

(Discount is in quotes because that is hardly a discount there)

I can see tires on the Discount Tires site that Sears Auto has for significantly less. :/

And I bet Sears will mount them right there on the spot.

Then again, Sears has typically had good deals. I think when it is time for me to get tires for my Ford Taurus SE, I'll be taking it to Sears Auto, because then I can just pay with my Sears Card.

Then Sears would charge extra for alignment even if you said no. But whatever lol.

Now I reckon if I told Sears I did not want an alignment, and they charged me for it, then we'd have issues.

Alignment is a separate service at Sears Auto. They lock in mounting and balancing as part of the tire install, though. That's kind of important to have done when getting a new tire(s), so no big deal.

But Brian, who wants your suspension to be properly aligned? Just let them tires goto shіt so you can buy MORE tires!

I never had issues with Sears stuff. Granted old stuff breaks, like a washing machine that is 11 years old, that has been used heavily in its lifetime will break down, but any Kenmore appliance is just a Whirlpool Corp, Frigidaire, etc. So it wouldn't matter if it was Sears branded or not, still would have the same reliability

And of course, my Craftsman tools never failed me. Our Sears snowblower is pretty old, starts each time
