'03 has original Oxy sensors, '07 has nice new ones, maybe that has something to do with it.

I drive like the old man that I am since I' the one who does the maintenance, but I notice when my daughter drives the car the mileage is much less. She has a foot like the little old lady from Pasadena.

The Taurus was never a real 'economy' car since it has 6 cylinders, but I'll pay the extra little bit in fuel for a nice, comfy seat and save my arthritic spine. Would you rather fly to Europe in a 747 or a Cessna?
The G-1's with power seats had the most confy seats of any I have driven at the time, and since. I had '87, & '88 both top end. I drove a lot. When I drove the '86 company cars with no power, I saw the difference. They had foam over a steel pan while the power seats had springs. I drove lots of rentals and none compared to the G-1 Bulls.

Yeah, I got the power seats. Lots more comfy than my wife's Corolla. Wouldn't take a road trip in that car.

Want better mileage? Use imperial gallons (the gallon we use up here in Canada is bigger). You'll get 33.84MPG, while your US gallon will give you 28.2, I think you said.
sheila likes this.

What will people think if they know that I'm a Jesus freak?
