2001 SE Taurus wont start.

OK Had about 4 people look at the car with no luck. I was driving it and it died. No lights or any indication of anything wrong. Battery is new. It will start and die after about 5 seconds then you have to wait for an hour for it to t=do the same.

Changed the TPS and chnaged the Idle Air control valve. No luck doing the same thing. 6months ago had the fuel pump replaced.

Thanks

Just because the fuel pump was replaced doesn't mean it's good.

Go to AutoZone and rent the fuel pressure test kit. Hook it up and see what fuel pressure you're getting while cranking at the fuel rail. Report in with the numbers.

When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced? That would be the first thing I would change now(after testing fuel pressure)

Okay... but is is cranking over, right? During the time you spend waiting for it to kick over again, do your electrical components still function as normal?
