Post mockups for the 2015 Taurus here!

Okay, as we're getting closer to the redesign of America's Car, I figure we'll keep it to one thread of pictures of either concepts or test mules that are spotted in the wild.

Here's one:

Holly: 2003 Taurus SES Deluxe, Duratec, spoiler, moonroof, OEM Centennials, JBL Audio. April '14 COTM winner.
Jill: 2010 Taurus SEL, 3.5L Duratec, Sync.

The design looks sleek and attractive, but it looks too much like the Fusion....I hope they differentiate the two more, if that's actually the design they're going with.

That's a mockup from some guys Down Under, and my guess would be that they did that because of the rumors that the new Taurus will use the Fusion's CD4 platform instead of the D3 platform.

It depends on what Ford decides that the flagship will be. Is it the Taurus or the Fusion?

I don't think it needs a redesign yet. It is still a very current looking car.

If they do something like this, they are going to screw themselves over.

More people would buy a Fusion if it looks like that.

This is supposedly a Lincoln MKS, but it seems more like it'd be a Taurus.

It has a Ford look to it, not a Lincoln look.

That's just a mule for chassis tuning. Don't expect it to look anything like that aside from maybe the basic dimensions.

It does need a redesign. The rear seat is cramped!

Besides, Ford (like most car companies) is on a five year lifecycle with most of their products.
