2001 4.6L DOHC Taurus

Hey guys im new to the forum. Has the title says im the lucky owner of a 2001 Ford Taurus with a 4.6L power plant. It also has:
- sho front and rear sway bars
- eibach lowering springs
- custom control arms,
- custom 3 inch dynomax exhaust,
- 98 continental block and manifold
- custom fitted 18 inch 1000 Meglia Evo 5

-MAYBE IF SOMEONE WANTS TO BUY IT FOR THE RIGHT NUMBER I MIGHT LET IT GO?.

Nice job. That would make do for a good write up.

That must have taken some kind of engineering to shoehorn that in there. .
What was the stock power train?

The 60 degree FWD V8 SHO barely fits in the engine bay, I'm sure the 90 degree RWD mod motor would have a "little" trouble fitting. So without pics, this thread is pointless.

I know one person did the swap, but IIRC they had issues.

FYI, the 4.6L is FWD in the Continental...

Sorry I didn't catch that part, I never heard of the swap but that's interesting. But still no pics to back up a pretty large claim is odd, to say the least.

After looking through the posted thread (still surprised I never came across this before) I came upon another 4.6 swap. The car in that thread has the same rims as the one in this thread and both are white G4's.
