Everyone hates Chrysler because of the 2.7 v6, only the worse engine of all time! And I really don't like they’re interiors, they all seam so cheap and plasticy.

Also, you would not believe how many Intrepids I saw in the JY. Rows and rows of them-they practically dominated the Chrysler section.

Watch and learn, Bradley... Those voting options above are the reason why these engines have bad rep.

Oh, and my mom has one of the VERY few 99-00 Grand Caravan's with the AutoStick feature (like Tiptronic).

I was in multiple different parts stores and they didn't even know the Grand Caravan was available with it. How's that for rare?

Given......

BUT......... as said the 3.3L/3.8L chryslers were one of the most bulletproof engines you can come across other than the Ford 4.6 put in cars(not their trucks). MUCH MUCH better than Ford's 3.8L.

WARNING: Before you buy a Dodge Intrepid 2.7L......... - YouTube
He even admits it was defective design...besides, he's an Intrepid owner.

Changing the WP every 70k is evidence of bad design/cheap parts. Especially if Chrysler says change it every 100k. Cam-driven Duratec pumps can go the life of the engine without a change.

Changing synthetic every 5k is wasteful. More bad design.

Those motors are defective plain and simple, Chrysler originally stated to change the oil every 7500 miles in the owners manual for the 2.7 and then back peddled when they started blowing up and denied warranty claims. totally screwed thousands of people, I have no respect for chrysler.

I really think its tire rotation. I always forget to do mine.... I need to bring mine in. They haven't been rotated in about 8k miles.

My dad forgets his and my mom hers as well. So maybe we just are a family thats not good at tire rotation!
