At work? I have a preferred spot. It's on the end, and there's a nice gap, with no spot opposing it, so I can hug the left front corner, and only the most massive two-door coupe (a rarity these days) could possibly door ding it.
My t bird could POLL OF THE WEEK - Where do you park when you're NOT at Home?-imageuploadedbyautoguide1374765810.291259.jpg(excuse the blurry pic) but ya, that's just the door panel, the whole door is 8 inches longer than that! It wasn't uncommon for me to crawl through the window because I couldn't open my door.

OTHER: I park where ever I can easily get out of my car without dinging somebody else's car. I am 6'5" and @ 285 lbs so just getting in and out of the car is an issue. I can't keep people from dinging my car but I can prevent myself from doing it to others.

I park inbetween two of the biggest trees on the campground property. Nobody dings my doors!
Also pictured is the lovely work tractor and work truck I get to use around the camp.
Yeah, seriously, we use an Escalade for our work truck.

I only park next to Taurus or Sables. No matter where- no matter what.

Normally I'll hug the outside a bit more, but the lot is mostly empty right now.

Haven't washed the car in a month or so as well. Still nice and shiny.

I park next to high end cars whenever possible lol. Right now, I am parked next to my managers BMW, so hopefully at least my passenger side wont get any more door dings

other, although i've had to park in the handicap spot and have the tag to still do it.99% of the time i don't do it.
i like parking where theres the less human contact. i see someone i rather not see most the time.. although their feeling is mutual.
