Want to get a Crown Vic P71 someday, but this might wanna make me do an 275hp engine swap. I mean from all the reading the searches I just need the engine/tranny/computer and probably have the fuel lines reworked. Other than those it's the same platform (D186?). I can only wish

welcome to the club. i would love to see this done, ive wanted to do it myself, but if i remember correctly the last time i heard of it being done, there was cooling issues based on the size of the motor and the size of the engine bay. regardless, she sounds like an awesome car!

I'm not gonna say you have it or not, welcome to the club for sure. Why is it though, that EVERY one of the people that come here and say, "hey I have ......." NEVER own a camera???? Here's what you do... go buy a cheap disposable camera, take some pics, take it to wally world, have them develop the pics onto a disk, and post them up. There, simple easy fix to our problem of skepticism. Again, WELCOME TO THE CLUB.

Screw that.

Pull out your cell phone, take pic, send pic to me at:

I'll gladly post it. Don't say you don't own a camera phone.

It was more a problem that dude tried to stick an OBD I engine in an OBD II car. It never got to full running temperature.

i hope you don't take offence to the naysaying. its just way easier for people to talk and make claims of projects done rather than actually do them. not to mention every body here that thinks you have to hack up the car to make it fit. its not that we do not believe you or want to be hostile, we just hope you are honest and into the taurus game, and not a troll who just wants to mess with us.
