Ok, I havn't seen a good poll around here in a while. I am sure everything you can ever imagine has been asked. What generation do you own? What color is your car? How much money spent on car?

But I never seen a poll on body type. I really want to know the difference on people owning a wagon, or a sedan on this forum.

If you own more then one vehicle, then of course choose which one you have the most. If you own the same wagons and sedans, then I guess you null your vote, or choose the one you drive the most.

i have a gen 4 sedan. i would much rather have a gen 4 wagon, but they are sooooo hard to find (around here anyways) when i was lookin for a new car i really wanted a wagon, i wouldve gone for a gen 3 or 4 wagon, but i couldn't find any for sale nearby. however i do see quite a few gen3 wagons around the city, gen 4 wagons are too few and far inbetween

I don't mind wagons.

I'd rather have a rustbucket than a rice rocket!

I have a sedan. For some reason I like the sedan better, despite the usefulness of a wagon.

There is a place near me that had a G4 wagon ('02 or '03 I think?) for $7,995... silver with less than 50,000 on it... Looks like they finally sold it... I know they had it for a while

Nothing but wagons here - though, like soccernamlak, I've never seen myself driving one... only because I'm inside, so I can't see myself...

And I get special wagons. My first was $1200, second was free and my latest, a '98, was around $800. By "special," of course, I mean, "beater, cheap."

But we like canoeing, so we take full advantage of the roof rack, and we carry biggish things now and then, and our primary vehicle, a Camry, won't carry much. The Taurus (all 4 so far in our family) is better, much better and more comfortable on a long trip. The '98 handles as well as the Camry, but I sure couldn't say that of the Gen 1 and the two Gen 2s I've owned...

1986 MT-4 4-cylinder (R.I.P. circa 1990, rust, clutch)
1994 Station Wagon (R.I.P. circa 9/2005)
1991 Station Wagon (R.I.P. 1/2007, but the Benz that pulled out in front was bent much worse)
1998 SE Station Wagon (R.I.P. 2/28/09 at ~186k)
2004 Taurus SE w/Vulcan & AX4N | dark shadow gray metallic | gray cloth interior | still strong at 192K+
2000 Taurus SE wagon w/Vulcan & AX4S / tropic green metallic | gray cloth interior | purchased 6/12 at 51k miles

I originally owned a 93 taurus sedan, when I wrecked it hydroplaning in the rain I set out to buy a Duratech wagon. What a lovly improvement! I wanted the wagon so I can get the most bass out of my sub woofer and more room.

Duratech... FTR!
