That bushing is just a plain rubber bushing....the only thing I can think of is AC condensate dripping from the drain and running down right in that area.

I believe the water pump has a weep hole in the area of the alternator as well, I don't recall how close that would be to the control arm

Are we positive that bushing is not filled with a hydraulic oil. There is very limited info on those bushings so far that I came across from searching but did read some place that they do have oil in them. The top on the bushing and bracket are dry so I dont think its dripping down from any place else. I placed a small piece of cardboard on the top bracket of the bushing so we shall see if it wet tomorrow morning

Well deff realized today it is that bushing that is leaking the rubber outside part is all starting to come apart. Anyone know how difficult it is to get the bushing off the arm. I see they don't sell the arm with ball joint and bushing already assembled

They should definitely sell the entire control arm. I literally just replaced my entire control arm last night because this bushing was going bad on mine. Go on rockauto and you should be able to find the whole assembly.

They do sell the entire arm. I have a pair I mistakenly bought over a year ago that it wasn't worth paying the return shipping to rockauto to return. My clunk was my inner tie rod ends.

For a '13 SEL

Motorcraft P/N
MCF2394 (front left)
MCF2395 (front right)

Seems like the price has gone up to $95 a side. There are some cheaper options available. They were $75 each when I purchases them, so my decision to hang onto them was a smart one. Don't need to install them....yet.
