is this possible?

I want to be able to play music from my phone either using Bluetooth or aux. But I don't want to have to hit any buttons to trigger it.

Ex. I'm listening to the radio, I connect my phone , *radio still playing*, I start playing Spotify or iTunes, *radio mutes* and switches inputs

So ideally I want to be able to mute radio when a signal is detected, and unmute when it's not. I've read several forums on here, and the Bluetooth one was the closest, but not all there.

Another thing (not important): I'm bouncing around the idea of adding underdash mount lights and was wondering if it's possible to have them wired to be full brightness when the door is open, then dim really low once the door is shut.

Thanks
-Shawn

Hello, what platform are you running? What year is your car? Do you have a Gen 6 with SYNC etc.?

I have SYNC 2 and if I have hit the button to allow the music to play via Bluetooth, but I can do that from my steering wheel controls so it's not an issue for me.

2013 Taurus SHO with Performance Package: Air Raid Cold Air Intake: Magnaflow twin pipes with performance mufflers: De-baged. SCT X4 93 Canned Tune,( 3bar map sensor, 170 thermostat, gapped plugs to be installed), smoke tint headlights
Other rides:

- 1988 Dodge Dakota 3.9 V6 5sp RWD - restored

You may want to PM Admiralsprarklez as he is a wonder at all this stuff. He is a whizz with electrics etc.

I would if I had unlimited data, but unfortunately I don't.
