Rca inputs

Does anyone know if the back of a stock 2002 taurus stereo will have rca inputs. My girlfriend is trying to use one of those battery powered radio pickup things for her ipod and i think we all know how well those work. So i would like to hook up an aux jack for her but i dont want to tear the thing apart for nothing. Thanks

No. You will need a special adapter that converts the CD changer plug into an aux-in (or you can hack the cassette player apart and wire something in).

Or just get one of those adapters that is a cassette with a headphone cord attached.

I may consider selling my iPod to Ford radio interface. Works GREAT with the NANO 4G.... charges the iPod all the time, and can control the tracks through the radio.... very nice.

I bought mine from iPodCarPros

Bwhahahaha! If it was that easy, I would have said so!

No, the radio's brain requires communication with the CD changer and if they can't communicate with the same language, then it won't work. You're going to have to spend some bucks to get a device that speaks the right language. The above two posters already mentioned a couple devices that would work with the CD changer.
